Stop Smoking

As you already know perhaps that smoking is an external means to change what you feel internally. It’s a habit that is deeply ingrained, but which can be changed. Hypnosis has a high success rate of helping to quit smoking. Research shows that when a person is prepared to stop, they are more successful.

Most people find it difficult to quit smoking because smoking is not a logical, rational, conscious act. People do it out of habit in response to stress and nicotine addiction. All the scary statistics and reasons to quit, doesn’t make you quit because you actually need to reprogram your mind.

Hypnosis for smoking cessation is to program the brain to stop smoking. It begins with an in-depth phone assessment to determine whether you are ready to quit, which is a prerequisite for success. The program involves:

  • Psychoeducation on learned behavior and how beliefs can be modified
  • Teaching coping behaviors
  • Shifting the belief system and incorporating replacement behaviors

It is important for you to know that it is you who are doing the work, and I would only guide you through the process. I can't make you quit smoking, but I will make it significantly easier for you to reprogram your mind to build new habits.
